In our first meeting, we explain each step as well as customise the plan and timeline to suit your individual project’s needs, although the fundamental milestones below remain the same.
Initial Consultation
Upon receiving your enquiry, we reach out to arrange an obligation-free consultation. This meeting is about getting to know each other and starting a relationship as your trusted build partners.
We want to understand you, your project goals and vision, key lifestyle factors influencing the design, as well as timelines, site requirements, and budget. This crucial step enables us to offer initial guidance and provide a tailored quote for our services based on your specific needs.
Engagement
To kick off the process, we start with a Preliminary Agreement.
This lets us thoroughly examine your site or home, including detailed surveys, identification of easements and underground services as well as precise measurements. We also begin the exciting part of breaking down the look and feel of your new home to reflect who you are and how you live in your spaces.
Town Planning + Approvals
Only if required.
We will let you know in the first stages if your project requires any town planning and approvals, which our team can manage for you as part of the build process.
Design + Documentation
Next, we move on to designing your project!
We cover concepts like finishes, floor plans, 3D modelling, and elevations. Don’t worry, we'll guide you through each step — blending technical expertise, design, and practical considerations seamlessly. Though, your involvement is crucial as we progress through this stage.
Finally, we'll present the completed design and formalise our partnership by signing a fixed-price contract, and a building agreement, solidifying our joint commitment to your vision.
Construction Begins
This is where work on site officially kicks off.
From the moment we break ground, we encourage regular meetings on-site to walk through the progress, provide you with any updates and the opportunity to witness key milestones during construction, including foundation, framing, lock-up and fix-out.
Final Week
We’re almost there!
As we near completion, we'll schedule a formal walkthrough to address and rectify any defects before reaching the practical completion stage. During this phase, witness your vision materialise as you engage with and experience your new space for the first time.
Practical Completion
This is just the fancy term for handover — the exciting moment when we handover the keys to your brand new space.
